Triangle or Quadrangles

Does Vizard need its models to have been triangulated? C4D, our modeling app, tends to work with quads. Whilst triangulating certain gets rid of things like non-planar polygons it also ups the polygon count, but is this not a problem for Vizard?

Vizard should support both quads and triangles. However, some graphics cards render faster when using triangles.
