Avatar & Motion Capture Interface
Hi all,
I was wondering if it was possible to change the arm lengths of one of Vizard's default avatars, so that, with some inverse kinematics, I could obtain a nearly 1 to 1 correspondence between my actual hand and the avatar hand. I'm having a huge problem, because my arm is much shorter than the avatar hand, and I need the avatar movements to be fairly precise (without having to resort to using the more extensive avatar library or some alternative IK system). I believe the avatar arm angles I currently have are fairly accurate, but because the avatar has longer arms, I can't correlate my real index finger position and the avatar index finger position without too much imprecision... Thanks, Angie |

It's not possible to scale individual body parts of the avatars included with Vizard. They can only be scaled as a whole.
