Exporting Avatar Mesh Crashes 3DSMax
I'm applying custom textures to avatars from an avatar library using 3DSMax 2012 with the 2012 cal3d plugin. I can export the skeletons, animations and materials for them, but unlike the others I can't export meshes for one avatar. It gets to the LOD/springs screen, then crashes.
I also tried this with 3DSMax 2010 (with the 2010 plugin), same crash. I'm exporting each mesh seperately, there are 3. I'd use the pre-exported meshes but the new textures aren't mapped to them. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? |

I was mistaken about the texture mapping, the exported meshes can be used. To retexture the avatars the textures must be saved as 24bit tgas, 16bit and 32bit won't display.
