Seeing your own feet

I would like an observer, wearing an hmd, with position and orientation
tracking enabled, to be able to see his own feet when looking down
at the ground. Is it possible to do this by linking an avatar to MainView
so that you see the avatars legs and feet when looking down?

If you have a feet model, you can link it to the main view and use the setPos and setEuler operators to keep the Y position on the floor and only transfer the yaw of the main view. Here is a sample that uses the ball model as the feet:
Code:
import viz
viz.go()

viz.add('tut_ground.wrl')

feet = viz.add('ball.wrl')
feet_link = viz.link(viz.MainView,feet)
feet_link.setEuler([None,0,0])
feet_link.setPos([None,0,None])

Am I able to link the ball with a tracking rigid body somehow? So that when the rigid body moves in space, the ball does in the virtual environment with it?
