Record movements of an avatar?
Hi all
I'd like to record the movements of my probands and save them to disk, so I can replay them later by assigning them to a non person character avatar. How can this be achieved? Thanks for help Joshua |

What kind of movements are being captured and what kind of avatar are you using?

The head, arms, and legs movements. We have MotionBuilder running on a computer that is connected to the whole WorldViz stuff - can I record the movements there?
I don't really know what avatars we're using... the basic ones that come with WorldViz, I guess. |

You can make a recording in Motionbuilder and when you are ready to see the avatar moving in Vizard, load the Live Characters plug-in and play it back.

OK, but can I have both? The person walking through my VR and record her movements in parallel with motion builder?
The case is the following: Every person who enters my VR has to see the movements of the previous person attached to an avatar. Is that possible? |

Anybody got an idea? Can I run MotionBuilder and a WorldViz VR in parallel? I guess I have to try myself tomorrow at the lab... ;-)
