dlr water surface
Hi - back in 2006 there was a great routine posted on the forum for creating a sea surface using a water.dlr file and a water.rgb file. Does anyone know what software is used to create the dlr file - I want to try and create one similar but with different parameters but try as I might can find nothing on the web about dlr files. All help welcome. Thanks.

Here is the Visual C++ 6.0 project which I used to make the
water plugin. You can play around with the parameters in the ModifyWater() function of water.cxx. Please don't ask me details about how it works because I don't know. |

I forgot, you will need to put this in the same folder as the plugin.
Or you can use a different rgb image file to give the water a different look, but it still must be named "water.rgb". |
