Can I install different versions in the same computer?
I wanna install vizard3.0 and 5.0 in the same computer. Is it possible?

Yes, they can be installed side by side.

Note that this can cause issues when installing python packages, if you're not careful. Each Vizard installation, upon install, sets the default python dir to its own directory. So, when installing new python libraries/packages, make sure to point the install to the desired Vizard install. You have to redirect it to your vizard install (the /bin directory, I believe).
A request to WOrldviz! Please add a Vizad menu option to make *this* vizard install the default python installation. Thanks! |
