Worldviz Launches Vizard 6

We’re happy to announce the release of Vizard 6, the new version of our comprehensive VR development engine! With Vizard 6, we’re reaffirming our commitment to make Vizard the premier VR development software for the R&D space. This means broader hardware support, new art workflows, improved model and lighting workflows, and more. Current support holders will get upgraded to Vizard 6 free of charge.   • A new loader for gltf models that enables new workflows out of Revit, Solidworks, Maya, Blender, Sketchup, Substance Painter, Modo, and more, as well as access to over 150,000 models in Sketchfab’s library with support for the gltf model workflow) and improved rendering.
  • Support for all the Windows Mixed Reality headsets
  • Wireless Manus VR data glove integration, with full finger tracking and vibration feedback
  • Support for the Tobii Pro VR eyetracking integration based on HTC VIve
  • New Mixamo and Fuse avatar workflows
  • Support for collaboration between multiple users on the same network
  • A variety of new hardware setups, such as the WorldViz Vizbox, Windows Mixed Reality, Vivetracker full body tracking and Oculus Touch with new Vizconnect presets
  • Updated to the latest Oculus SDK
  • Publishing as .zip files in addition to .exe
  • Improved model and lighting workflows with Inspector, Vizard’s integrated 3D model editor
  • Support for the latest version of FBX
  • And much more
