Hi everybody & please get me started
Hi everybody
My name is Joshua and I'm studying psychology at the university of Berne, Switzerland. For my bachelor assignment I need to conduct an experiment using our brand new WorldViz laboratory. Sadly, nobody around here really has a big idea on how to use it. So I wanted to ask kindly for help here, so someone could point me into the right direction. What I need is in fact quite simple, I guess: I need a small room in which one wall is a mirror, and an avatar in the room. I saw there's some example code for creating a mirror... So my first question is: how do I create a room? As far as I can see, there's no editor for such WRL files? Is there a simpler and cheaper application available than 3D Studio Max? I heard about Flux Studio, but the website doesn't seem to exist anymore. I'm very thankful for any help. Greetings, Josh |

Hi,
Under tutorials and examples in Vizard documentation you can start with “Getting your feet wet” |

You might try using Blender. It's fairly similar to 3D Studio Max and it's freeware and open source.
