Per vertex attributes in OTF objects?
Is there a mechanism in Vizard to load user defined per vertex attributes in on-the-fly (layer) objects?
I need color, normal vector and tex-coord already. So I canīt use those to store my additional attributes. In a previous thread about bump mapping I read something about that Vizard supports tangent and binormal calculation. Can I access (i.e. write to) the tangent and binormal attributes from my own vizard app.? If possible, it would be a temporary fix to the problem. |

There is currently no built-in way to define per-vertex attributes with OTF objects. The only way to accomplish this would be through a plugin that directly modifies the underlying OSG object and adds the vertex attributes.
