Write what is printed
Is there a function that lets me copy/write to a separate file (say a text file) whatever is printed on Vizard in real-time (as the program is running)?

In the Vizard docs, if you look under tutorials there is one called creating data files that shows how to do this. Under example scripts, there are two short examples, one that reads from a file and one that writes to a text file.

I am aware of creating data files, but I need something that will incorporate the function of data files with that of write files.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Can you give an example of what you want written to the file?
