Animated SplashScreen
I was wondering if with the new Vizard 5 there is a way to change the default animated loading screen with my own. I understand I can use viz.splashscreen, but it doesn't seem to support gif images or videos. Is there a way to add an animated splashscreen at this point? Thanks!

Now that Vizard 5 has released in its full version, do we have an answer for this question? Is there a way to add an animated splash screen?

You can use the example from this post showing how to overlay an HTML window during loading.

this script doesn't actually replace the loading screen. i want to replace the default loading screen (i.e. viz.splashScreen()) with an animation, like the default one they have implemented. viz.splashScreen only takes image files, and doesn't work with GIF animations. Is there a DLL or plugin I could use to change the default loading screen to an animation?
