I currently have the 8.5.0i version of McAfee running on my machine. I am experiencing the same symptoms as described above. I have tried manually updating, but is not really working. Did anyone experice this and how did you go about fixing it? We have two other machines in my lab in which Vizard is running fine, but in the one machine it stopped working.

If I remember correctly, all the users who experienced this issue solved it by upgrading to version 9 of Privacy Service. As mentioned, the automatic update feature does not include major version updates, so you need to manually download the latest version and install it.
