Vizard for full resolution (HD) 3D via HDMI 1.4a ?
I'm trying to understand the mess of current 3D compliance standards, specifically with HDMI 1.4a.
As I understand it, it is not a requirement that HDMI 1.4a displays are compatible with frame-sequential stereo. Are there any formats that are supported by both Vizard and the HDMI 1.4a standard that do not involve a drop in resolution? Also, can you guys recommend a full HD 3D projector? Thanks! - gD |

Hi,
The option will be very limited if you wanna have full resolution stereoscopic on a monitor display, especially if you want to go with HDMI 1.4a. The chance is that if you can find a 3D monitor which able to accept "Dual input" of video sources from the graphic card and able to take care the side by side parallax image and show it in frame sequential by the monitor itself. But the difficulty for you will be finding out a 3D monitor which use dual HDMI input instead of DVI. Best, Kevin |
