I am trying to have an avatar walk to HEAD_POS of another computer. Basically just like the Duck networking example, expect it is avatars and I am trying to make them walk there, and then back. so i am using... female.walkto(x, 0, z) #x,z are passes through network, and they are the values of HEAD_POS female.walkto(-1.65,.5,-1.05) # starting and finishing location my avatar does nothing, it does not walk over or back or anything please help |

			Hi,

The walkto function creates a walk action which you can later apply to an avatar. Here's what your code should look like: Code:
#Create a walk action to the start location (only need to create this once) WalkToOrigin = female.walkto(-1.65,.5,-1.05) #Create a walk action to the network head position (need to create this every time) WalkToHead = female.walkto(x,0,z) #Apply walk actions to avatar female.act(WalkToHead) female.act(WalkToOrigin) |
