World demos(The Pit)

The Pit sample example works very well on my PC. but when I try to practically work it with the corner cave environment, then the PPT wand works fine but I have a problem when there is a pit created, the person if he is on the high level, and when he walks out of the length of the walking area, then it should basically give a falling impact and some different sound should be played, which does not happen. Can anyone help me with this?
