return IDE to default config
hi,
somehow i've move my properties, input/output, programming code, etc window into some highly non-standard configuration. get me out of here! can someone tell me how to simply return it to the default configuration? reboot did not help, it remembered the screwed up configuration. thanks, bill |

To return the IDE to original settings you will need to go into the registry. From the start menu select Run and then type in regedit. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Software --> WorldViz. Under WordViz delete Vizard30 and when asked whether you want to delete this key and all subkeys say yes. Then when you restart Vizard the windows should be in their original positions.

Thanks so much. The first time I tried it, I did it while vizard was running. On restart, I still had the same screwed up config. But then I quit vizard, repeated your instructions, restarted vizard and the IDE exhibited "a return to normalcy". (-:
