when i load a model with a texture using render to texture it show me a very low quality texture for example this one: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/220/showe.jpg/ and i tried to render the texture with 1024x1024 and 2048x2048? some suggestions, because i'm in a little hurry i have to finish this project for tomorrow so i hope this could be fix quickly |

Are you using the S3TC Texture compression? If it’s set to IMAGE_DATE_FORMAT, the size will be bigger, but it wont have any compression. S3TC_ DXT5_COMPRESSION compresses and maintains the texture quality best.
What are the UV coordinates like? Maybe not enough room is allocated to receive textures. If that’s the case, it might also serve to break up the object to receive more texture sheets. |
