Hi,

No, this is a feature of your graphics card. Most graphics cards will limit the frame rate of the application to the refresh rate of your monitor. They do this because there is no point to render extra frames if your monitor won't be able to display it in time. You can either go into the settings for your graphics card and disable "Vertical Sync". Or you can issue the following command in your script:

viz.vsync(0)
Now your script will render frames as fast as possible.
