1) How exactly do you want to use the mouse to control it? There are a few examples that come with Vizard showing to to handle mouse move/click events. You can handle these events to control the balloon however you like.
2) Can you explain in more detail what you want to do with the string? Do you want the balloon attached to a string which is attached to another fixed object?
