How to create AMTI AccuGait force plate plug-in using serial port connection?
 

Hello everyone,

I am new to vizard and python, but was looking to use an AMTI AccuGait force plate over a serial port connection to read in forces and moments.

I have tried the pySerial module, as mentioned in prior threads, but I can't figure out how to send the necessary start command (i.e., a 0x51 hex value) to the force plate to start receiving data.

Would any of you have any suggestions? or prior experience with this force plate?
