Drawing an arc
 

Good day, I am having some trouble trying to a code an arc shape or a shape that looks like this: http://eqatwork.com/wp-content/uploa.../08/magnet.jpg

i just wrote some code to give you the y-values of basically any sort of parabola you want. i doubt that helps but i'd figured i'd offer to send it....twould be great if someone could critique it.
