Change Resolution
Hello,
Is there any parameter or function that can change the resolution of the output graphics? Say sometimes I need 1024x768, sometimes I need 512x389. Thanks. |
Are referring to the monitor resolution or the size of the graphics window? Either way, have a look at the following commands in the documentation:
Code:
viz.displaymode() |
Thanks. I'll try viz.displaymode().
BTW, what's the width/height of viz.windowsize(width, height)? If they are the number of pixels, then what's the difference between these two commands? |
viz.displaymode() changes the resolution of your monitor
viz.windowsize() changes the size of the Vizard graphics window |
Hi,
Our HMD is nVisor SX which can display a 1280x1024 image. I tried to use viz.displaymode(640,512) at the beginning of my program to get half resolution. But I get the following message and nothing changed. ** ERROR: Failed to set requested display mode Did I miss something? Thanks, |
Your monitor does not support that resolution. Why do you want to set the resolution to half?

Hi,
I also tried to set the resolution of my monitor, but then I can see nothing but color stripe in my HMD. :( Thanks, |
