HiBall with vizard via VRPN?
 

Hi,

I'm trying to access a HiBall from Vizard via the vrpn_server.exe, but the vrpn.cfg file doesn't seem to include the HiBall as an option. We tried to set the kind of tracker to "vrpn_Tracker_..." with various suffixes, since hiball was not listed in the dummy configuration file. The error message we get in the console is "Unknown Device: vrpn_Tracker_..."

Hi,

That's strange, the VRPN site claims to support it, but it is nowhere to be found in the vrpn.cfg file. You might want to ask the VRPN mailing list. I'm sure someone there has used it before.
