Avatar & Motion Capture Interface

Hi all,

I was wondering if it was possible to change the arm lengths of one of Vizard's default avatars, so that, with some inverse kinematics, I could obtain a nearly 1 to 1 correspondence between my actual hand and the avatar hand.

I'm having a huge problem, because my arm is much shorter than the avatar hand, and I need the avatar movements to be fairly precise (without having to resort to using the more extensive avatar library or some alternative IK system). I believe the avatar arm angles I currently have are fairly accurate, but because the avatar has longer arms, I can't correlate my real index finger position and the avatar index finger position without too much imprecision...

Thanks,

Angie

It's not possible to scale individual body parts of the avatars included with Vizard. They can only be scaled as a whole.
