viz.REPEAT

Hi,

I'm using the code below to create the illusion of a continuous ground plane. My horizon looks fine; However, when you use the mouse to move forward across this ground plane you start viewing the near most edge of it - resulting in an undulating strip of background blue. I've tried altering the ground position etc. but to no avail. Could someone tell me why it is doing this.

I don't really understand what the problem is. Can you post a screenshot showing the problem?

Hi,

The screen looks like this- it's the blue strip at the bottom I don't want, it only appears when you start navigating forward and slightly left or right with the mouse and won't go away. I've realised I can get rid of the problem by resetting my setScale to 10,10,10. Although the ground doesn't really look how I want it too then. Is there any reason for this?

OK, I see now. It looks like a clip plane issue caused by the large scale being applied to your model. Try manually specifying the clip plane:

Code:

viz.clip(0.1,200)

This sets a small near clip plane. Basically everthing between 0.1 and 200 meters from the viewpoint will be rendered.
