MotionBuilder: Can calibration be saved and used for diff. persons?

Hi all

I have to send 48 different persons as avatars into a virtual world using PPT-Studio 2008 and MotionBuilder 2010.

I'm very new to this topic, and I find it very cumbersome to calibrate a person using MotionBuilder etc. so its movements are captured well (in fact I have big problems to get the movements to work smoothly, see my other topic about this: http://forum.worldviz.com/showthread.php?t=2698).

So I wondered whether it is necessary to calibrate MotionBuilder for every single person I test, or if it's possible to calibrate the stuff, then save the configuration and use it for every other person, too?

Thanks for help,
Josh

Yes, you could save different templates according to participant height and then re-use them. Calibrating for each person, however, will give the best results.
