setAnimationSpeed

I'm having trouble with the setAnimationSpeed command, below is a simplified version of what I'm trying to do, why isn't it accelerating the walk animation?

import viz
viz.go()
avatar = viz.add("male.cfg")
avatar.state(2)
avatar.setAnimationSpeed(2,5)

btw it does make it faster (and all animations) if the first number in parentheses is 0: avatar.setAnimationSpeed(0,5)

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

The documentation for the setAnimationSpeed command should explain it. When you use the avatar.state command, you are blending the animation into the avatars cycle, which is animation 0. If you were to execute the animation once using the avatar.execute command, then you would have to specify the actual animation number, in this case 2.
