Main window size larger than monitor
Hi!
I would like to set the Main window size larger that the monitor resolution in full screen (like a virtual desktop). For that, I thought I should use the command: viz.window.getFullscreenRectangle([x,y, w,h]) However when I write: -------------------------------- import viz, math viz.window.setFullscreenRectangle([0, 0, 2024, 2024]) (...) ----------------------------------------------------- I got the attribute Error: AttributeError: '_WindowInterface' object has no attribute 'setFullscreenRectangle' However if I type: ---------------------------------------------------- import viz, math if viz.window.getFullscreen(): print 'fullscreen' else: print 'window ------------------------------------------------------- it gives the correct output 'fullscreen' This is wired, because both of them are part of the same module viz:window. Can anybody explain to me what is going on? What should I correct? And even more, is setFullScreenRectangle the command that I should use? |
What version of Vizard are you using? The viz.window.setFullscreenRectangle command was introduced in Vizard 4.0.

version 3
ohhhhhhhhhh...
(I have version 3.) In the meanwhile I tried the setDisplayMode, and it didn't work as well. So, I can I set the window size larger than the monitor? Is is possible at all? (by the way, just a suggestion, case there is a function that it is only available from a certain version it should be written in the documentation page. For instance, the documentation of numpy has this feature) |
