Polhemus FasTrak Error Message
 

I get the following Error message in Vizard 5 Beta 4 when I try to connect a Polhemus FasTrak via USB
** ERROR: Failed to connect to a FasTrak: S : Device not found
** ERROR: Failed to create extension sensor with polhemus.dle

I tested the same Polhemus FasTrak via USB under Vizard 4 and it looks to work fine:
polhemus.dle Polhemus Extenstion
1 station(s) detected
** NOTIFY: Connected to Fastrak over USB Connection

I was able to connect a Polhemus Patriot correctly using Vizard 5 Beta 4

Has anyone tested a Polhemus FasTrak via USB with Vizard 5 Beta 4?
Any idea what the issue might be?

Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Vizard 5?

64 bit version

The 64-bit version uses a different API to connect to the FasTrak, since the original API only supports 32-bit. So there may be a bug in their new API. I've tested a USB FasTrak with 64-bit Vizard here, and it connects fine.

Are you able to connect to the FasTrak using the Polhemus PiMgr application? You might need to install the new USB drivers for it to work with the new API.

Looks like the FasTrak was using the 32 bit driver instead of the 64 bit driver. It looks like the 64 bit drivers are loaded on my computer, so I will see why it wasn't using the 64 bit driver.

I checked out my Patriot tracker and it is using the Patriot 64 bit driver and working correctly.
