licensing question
 

I am working with Vizard 2.53f on my laptop and it is having trouble with my license. Normally I am using the wireless connection, but I currently have it disabled since I am using the wired connection.

Will disabling the usual Ethernet interface affect licensing? I seem to recall that the MAC address was involved.

This seems to have messed up my licensing now - do I have to re-install?

Hi,

I think that might be the problem. The fingerprint of your machine is generated using a combination of your MAC address and other hardware configurations. Email support@worldviz.com to get a new license.

It seems I just have to disable the other ethernet adapter, then re-activate the license with my original code for the original system signature. No need to re-install. The moral of the story is just don't have multiple adapters or don't deactivate any of them!
