Connecting PPT Studio - Motion Builder over Ethernet
 

Hey,
we are trying to connect the PPT Studio 2010 with Motionbuilder 2012. We have two working stations one for the PPT tracking and one for Vizard/Motionbuilder etc. They are connected via Ethernet.

To do that we followed the tutorials given by:

http://kb.worldviz.com/articles/155 and after that http://kb.worldviz.com/articles/158.

However MotionBuilder does not detect the data sent by PPT-Studio from the other computer. The 'online' Button in the MotionBuilder software stays yellow and no samples are transferred. This is not a network problem since the connection between Vizard and PPT Studio work perfectly.

Hey, it was a firewall problem.
--> solved
