3D sound
 

I found the tutorial and I used the 3D sounds function exactly like the example showed. I attached the 3D sound to a Avatar. I can use the .wav file that was used for the example but when I try to use my own .wav file it says it can't find it. The file is in the same directory as the script that I am messing with.

Can you try clicking on the "Refresh Resources" button which is right next to the "Run" button. Then look at your Script Resources, does the wav file show up with a speaker icon next to it? If it does show up with the speaker icon, double click on it to make sure it plays.

By the way, i'm the pool master, you best recognize!

The file loads and then it gives me these errors:

fread error in ReadData
ReadData error in CreateBufferfromWaveFile
**Error:couldn't find sound file

You might be good at pocket pool. But for the real pool you can just call me "Pool King"

ok, I got your sound file working by changing the sample rate from 22 kHz to 48 kHz. I'm not sure why this was a problem, but it seemed to fix it. To change the sample rate open the wav file with the "Sound Recorder" program that comes with Windows. It's usually under Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment. When you have the file open click on File -> Properties. Then click on the "Convert Now" button. There will be a list called "Attributes". Scroll to the very bottom and choose 48 kHz. I chose the one with 8 bit Mono just because that's how the original file was. Then click OK and save the file. That should hopefully do it, let me know if it doesn't work.

By the way "Pool King", prepare to be dethroned tonight.
