Cal3D Avatars

I would like to know how to use the Cal3D Avatar functions. I know its not official yet, but I need to know the basic stuff like walkTo etc.

Thanks

You're referring to the Cal3D helper functions that support such things as walkTo. You are right in that this utility has not been officially released nor is it documented. However, a beta version is included with the standard release. It comes in the form of a python file, called Cal3D.py, which can be found in the vizard/python folder. At this point, you are best off opening that file and looking at all the available functions and nline comments to best-guess what their uses are. If you have specific questions, please post again. We hope to make these helper functions part of the official functionality soon but as of yet are not announcing the release date.

Example

An example would help in using this script file. I haven't had too time to spend on this but I tried and it doesn't seem very intuitive.
