Hello, I'm interested in Vizard for VR presentations with stereoscopic 3D HMD's. I read that vizard supports virtually all HMD's but I'd like to get some recommendations based on people's experience. I'm looking to spend under $2,000 per HMD.

Your options will be limited in that price range. You should definitely check out the eMagin z800 (http://www.3dvisor.com/). It's one of the better low-cost HMDs we have used here.
